Sava Reinsurance (Sava RE) is a Slovenia-based insurance group operating in six former Yugoslavian republics. Within the group, the reinsurance company itself acts as the parent company, owning a 100% stake in almost all of its subsidiaries in the region, which offer non-life and life insurance products in Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia. Reinsurance services are offered globally. The company’s shares began trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in 2008.
