Sopharma Group, based in Bulgaria, is a leading producer of traditional herbal and generic drugs, as well as the leading pharma wholesaler in the country. At the group level, drug manufacturing accounts for c.20% of consolidated revenues, but the large majority of earnings. The company exports drugs via its subsidiaries in Central and Southern Europe, and some CIS markets, and it has wholesale businesses in Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic countries.
